The Instructions Are:
1 cup uncooked rice
2 1/4 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a 3 qt. saucepan. Bring to a boil; stir once. Cover with a tight fitting lid or foil; reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand (covered) 5-10 minutes longer. Makes apprxomately 3 cups cooked rice.
