Description: The iron in this product is reacted with whole rice concentrate rather than ordinary soy, yeast or milk proteins which are commonly used to chelate minerals. The special rice used by Solaray is approximately seven times higher in amino acid content than ordinary rice and has an amino acid profile preferred by many over soy.

This is a superb product! The iron is not reacted with ordinary yeast, so or milk proteins (the ones that are usually used when chelating minerals); instead, whole rice concentrate is used. Solaray uses special rice, and its amino acid content is about seven times higher than the ordinary rice!
