General Information and datasheet (Alvita teas)

For more than 75 years, long before it became fashionable,
Alvita was championing the profound health-giving properties of
herbal teas. We travel to the far reaches fo the globe for the
finest herbs, the best growers, the most precious
sources. Small wonder that so many consumers trust the Alvita
name. Today, it stands for more than 100 different
teas, including classic single herb varieties, and our unique
Alvita blends. The package you hold in your hand combines
ancient herbal wisdom with modern science, and brings to you
all the richness and benefits of herbal teas. The philosphy is
the very reason why you will find sensible, English pillow
style tea bags that are oxygen bleached, not chlorine
treated. And why you won't find any strings, tags or
staples. We thank you for choosing our product, but more
importantly, we thank you for the trust you've put in the
herbal values that we all share. Alvita. Natural Herb Teas
That Are Good For You And The Environment. Noni is the common
name for Morinda citrifolia, a plant native to
Polynesia, especially Tahiti and Hawaii. The leaves, stems and
roots have all been used by Polynesian "Kahuna", or traditional
healers, for up to 2,000 years in foods and beverages. Noni is
a small, blossoming shrub with leaves that can reach up to
a foot in length. It grows an irregular, lumpy, egg-shaped
fruit several inches long over much of the year. The ripe
fruit has a strong, pungent odor. The seeds float due to inner
air chambers and can withstand prolonged exposure to salt
water. Noni is believed to have spread to Asia, Australia and
the Americans initially by floating seeds on ocean currents and
later by Polynesian traders and settlers. Modern research has
identified several important and beneficial nutritional
compounds in Noni. Our Noni Tea is made from the
whole plant. Made with recycled paper board.
