Castor oil, a vegetable oil produced from the castor bean, can be used in an amazing number of situations, including such things as sunburn, grazes, burns or other many other skin problems and conditions. It can also be used as a rub for headaches or muscular pains because it will penetrate the skin. It even has an anti-inflammatory effect. It is generally recognised as being safe and effective and has been in use for thousands of years. In main-stream medicine it has been incorporated into several different modern drugs. It can also be found in lipstick, lip balm and shampoo. So you can feel confident in using this product.
