Turkey Tail has various 
names. Scientifically it is called as Coriolus versicolor or 
Trametes versicolor. It's Chinese name is Yun Zhi and Japanese 
name is Kawaratake.

It may be the most studied medicinal 
mushroom of all. The immune-enhancing activities of Turkey Tail 
have been extensively studied in Japan since the mid-1970ís and 
over 400 clinical studies have been conducted on it.
