Review of BEEF GELATIN NATURAL POWDER 1 LB - NOW Product N6509

I ordered this product and sent an email to NOW for more information. I wanted to compare it to Great Lakes Gelatin. This is the response I received: "While our product is checked for a variety of impurities and has to meet our strict specs for heavy metals and pesticides it is not a certified Organic material. It is obtained from a collagen derived from the skin, white connective tissues and bones of animals." Otherwise I couldn't find a lot of information anywhere on the net. I think I'd rather buy gelatin that is from an organic/grass fed source such as Great Lakes if I want to consume it on a regular basis.
