Menthol 3.2% 
Uses
# temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and 
bronchial irritation 
# suppresses cough to help with sleep or 
rest 
Warnings
for external use only. 
Do not use for 
persistent or chronic cough as occurs with smoking, asthma or 
emphysema or if the cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm 
(mucus) unless directed by a doctor. 
When using this product 
# use for steam inhalation only, do not take by mouth.
 
# 
avoid contact with eyes.
 
Stop and ask a doctor if 
# cough 
persists for more than one week, tends to recur, or is 
accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache. A persistent 
cough may be a sign of a serious condition.
 
Keep out of 
reach of children. Store at room temperature. 
Directions
# 
adults and children 2 years of age and over: add 1 Tbs. of 
solution, for each quart of water, directly to the water in a 
hot steam vaporizer, bowl, or washbasin, or ¼ tsp. of solution 
for each pint of water, to open container of boiling water. 
Breathe in the medicated vapors. May be repeated up to three 
times daily or as directed by a doctor.
