Magnesium Ascorbate replaces Ester-C Magnesium, whose source material has been discontinued by its manufacturer. Magnesium ascorbate contains exactly the same amounts of elemental magnesium and ascorbic acid as Ester-C magnesium. It is a buffered, low-acidity form of vitamin C, which is less irritating to the stomach than ascorbic acid.
Each capsule contains:
Vitamin C (as Magnesium Ascorbate) 500 mg Calcium (as Calcium Ascorbate)
35 mg
Other ingredients: Cellulose.
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, 1 or 2 capsules one to three times daily between meals, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Ester-C may not be suitable for the severely allergic, as the vitamin C from which it is made is ultimately prepared from corn.
