The amino acid L-Citrulline, also called citrulline-aspartate ligase or argininosuccinate synthase, is a metabolite in the urea cycle. Other amino acids in this cycle are L-Arginine and L-Ornithine.
L-Citrulline is involved in liver detoxification of ammonia, and has been shown to speed recover from fatigue. It has also been utilized in the treatment of Ornithine Transcarbamylase Deficiency and other Urea Cycle disorders.
Each 1 and 1/4 teaspoon (3 g) serving contains:
L-Citrulline 3 g
Suggested use:
As a dietary supplement, 1 and ¼ teaspoon (3 grams) two times daily, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
