Because Psyllium forms an indigestible mass, it should be taken 
at different times than other supplements and should not be 
taken with water soluble supplements or medications in water 
suspension. Psyllium and other bulking agents should be avoided 
in cases of bowel obstruction or perforations. 

Fluid intake 
should be increased when taking Psyllium.
