Korean Ginseng has been an important part of

active part of the herb are the ginsenosides. The ginsenoside

Korean Ginseng. ginsenosides Rg1 and Rb1 have been studied the 
most. Other chemical compounds found in the Ginseng root include 
the panaxans, thought to be responsible in helping to lower 
blood sugar, and the polysaccharides (complex sugar molecules) 
which may support immune function.
