Twig Tea
Herbal Dietary Supplement
Kukicha - a.k.a. 'twig tea' - is a traditional Japanese tea variety made from the stems and stalks of the tea shrub, the same plant that green tea and black tea are made from (Camellia sinensis). After the twigs are pruned from the shrub, they are steamed and dried, then aged and gently roasted. How does it taste? Pleasantly rich, nutty and roasted; far less astringent than green tea. Serve with lemon, if desired.

Brewing Directions
Brew Well to be Wellâ„¢
For maximum benefit, medicinal tea must be properly prepared. Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over a tea bag in a cup. Cover cup and steep 5 minutes. These steps directly influence the amount of beneficial components that will end up in your teacup! Gently squeeze the tea bag to release any remaining extract.
Drink 3 cups or more daily. For an extra strength brew, use two teabags or brew up a whole pot using four or five teabags.
