ill they were either given Immune-Rx or remained on the placebo. 
The patients who received Immune-Rx at the onset of illness had 
an accelerated immune response, therefore shortening illness 
duration. Just as some vaccinations need to be repeated 
throughout life, Immune-Rx must be taken continuously because it 
does not provide permanent immunity. It is also important to 
note that Immune-Rx is not a cure-all. It does not work against
