CA cycle (AKA Krebs Cycle)
The TCA cycle is a complex
sequence of biochemical reactions that is known to be
responsible for how much fat is lost through the dissipation of
acetyl-CoA. So essentially, without the precursor oxaloacetate
available as a substrate, the TCA cycle slows down
proportionally - prohibiting fat loss. Additionally to fueling
the TCA cycle, Delta-5-E is documented to increase the
uncoupling effect inside the mitochondria of fat cells. In other
words, it will have a tremendous effect on the amount of
calories burned and thereby increase overall fat loss as a
result. In muscle tissue, Delta-5-E’s uncoupling effects are
known to support fat burning by the release of triglycerides
into blood plasma, which then are easily dissipated through
exercise.
These facts mean one thing…lipolysis goes up and
lipogenesis comes to a halt. In other words, fat loss is
increased while simultaneously preventing fat accumulation.
Delta-5-E and the Thyroid
Increasing thyroid activity without
suppressing its natural function is an extremely difficult task.
Fortunately, Delta-5-E was found to increase the amount of T3
(triiodothyronine) thyroid hormones in cells without suppressing
TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) from its natural release.
Delta-5-E extended release and half-life
Delta-5-E is the
dihydroxylated methylcarbonate ester of 7-OXO-DHEA, which is a
non-aromatizing metabolite of DHEA that cannot convert into
androgens of any sort. The half-life and bioavailability of
ordinary 7-OXO-DHEA is marginal at best. By attaching two
carbonate ester chains to it - SAN was able to increase the
compounds active life (the time it takes for the compound to be
metabolized) and bioavailability by 300%. *1
