RELEVANT RESEARCH

INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ packets are Lean Meal
Options™ scientifically designed to deliver optimal nutrition
necessary for peak performance. INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ is high in
quality protein, fiber, and critical nutrients and makes a
delicious and satisfying shake. Because INSTONE™ is committed
to bringing you the best that nutritional science has to offer,
we have compiled research indicating that INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ is
truly best in class. INSTONE™ CHALLENGE A recent survey
and taste test indicated that many people preferred
INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ as a Lean Meal Option™ over a popular,
leading brand meal replacement. Over 450 individuals from the
United States and Canada participated in a taste test in which
they compared INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ to a similarly flavored leading
brand meal replacement. Results were astonishing, but not
surprising! Results indicated that for all participants who
tasted a vanilla flavored mix, there were almost 5 times as many
individuals who preferred INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ (82.6%) over the
leading brand (n=14.5%); for a preference ratio of 4.74 or 474%
individuals preferring INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ ! Figure 1. INSTONE Challenge: Taste test
preferences for vanilla samples. Results were equally as
impressive for chocolate flavored INTAKEPERFORMANCE™. Results
showed that roughly 3 times as many individuals preferred
INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ (72.6%) over the leading brand (27.4%); for a
preference ratio of 2.65 or 265% individuals preferring
INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ ! Figure 2. INSTONE Challenge: Taste test
preferences for chocolate samples. References Ha E.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the difference between
INTAKELEAN™ and INTAKEPERFORMANCE™? IntakeLean is a scaled
down version of INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ that is ideal for low-carb
conscious consumers and/or women that do not want the extra
calories or protein. INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ can be used as
either meal replacement or a high performance protein supplement
that can be utilized by athletes. How many times should I
take INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ per day? You can consume
INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ 1-3 times daily, depending upon your caloric
requirements. Can I take INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ if I am trying
to gain weight, or is it only for “dieters?”
INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ can be used to gain weight (by consuming
excess calories) by taking this product between meals. You can
also reduce your weight by consuming INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ packets
instead of eating a meal. Remember – to maximize your results,
it is best to use this product in conjunction with a well
balanced diet and exercise routine. If I am trying to lose
weight, should I take INTAKELEAN™ or INTAKEPERFORMANCE™? You
can use either product to obtain your weight loss goals. Just
remember, that 2.5 scoops of Intake Lean is equal to 1 packet of
INTAKEPERFORMANCE™. A little over 1/3 of a INTAKEPERFORMANCE™
packet is equal to 1 serving of INTAKELEAN™. Is
INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ a “meal replacement” or is it a protein
supplement? INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ can be used as both, it just
depends upon your fitness goals and your body’s caloric needs.
Can INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ be used with a low-carbohydrate diet?
Yes – Intake Performance does not contain any added
carbohydrates and has only 7 net carbs, which is much lower than
all the leading competitors. Why is there more fat in
INTAKELEAN™ than other meal replacements? We have added good
fats to our Lean Meal Option products. These fats are called
essential fats and they are an integral part of our diets. Most
of these good fats are missing in high protein / Atkin type
diets and we have decided to add them in to make your diet more
complete. Why is INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ considered a Lean Meal
Option? Lean Meal Option is a family of products that offer
great tasting low carb solutions for your active lifestyle.
What makes the INTAKEPERFORMANCE™ and INTAKELEAN™ shakes
different from any other protein shake? 1. High in Fiber –
essential macronutrient that is missing in most high protein
diets. Fiber aids in your body’s digestion and increases your
satiety. 2. High in Premium Fatty Acids – a critical
component that is lacking in most Atkin type diets.
Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA), which has been clinically proven
to increase lean body mass and increases the metabolism of
fat. Docosahexenoic acid (DHA) is an essential fat that is a
critical component in the development and maintenance of a
healthy nervous system (i.e. brain and eye). Our DHA is derived
from an algal source and is free of toxins and heavy metals.
3. Enzyme Blend - is a full spectrum blend that assists in the
digestion of macronutrients. This enzyme blend assists in
nutrient bioavailability and it will also reduce bloating and
gastric distress often associated with many high protein shakes.
