Jatoba - (bark) - Hymenea courbaril (Fabaceae) - A giant canopy 
tree growing to 90 feet, Azucar Huayo, or Jatoba, is a toning 
and energizing bark. It also finds use as an antibacterial, 
antifungal, anti-inflammatory, expectorant, antiyeast and 
hepatoprotector (liver tonic). It is loaded with nearly 40 
phyto-chemicals, making it useful for many more conditions 
throughout South America as well as a general tonic.
