Vagi-Gard Medicated Creams are formulated to relieve the
external vaginal itching and burning typically associated with
yeast infections. The anesthetic formula helps to "soothe and
cool" and forms a protective film over the irritated tissue to
reduce the chance of further irritation or bacterial growth.
Vagi-Gard Medicated Creams contain the active ingredient
Benzocaine, an anesthetic ingredient used to soothe and calm
irritation. The Maximum Strength Cream contains 20% benzocaine,
the maximum percentage allowed without a prescription.
