Honeybush tea of South Africa is a truly unique taste experience
with wonderful health benefits. Our honeybush grows wild on the
Cape of Good Hope. This is a rare honey-scented flowering bush
with a floral and slightly spicy sweet taste. It is deliciously
aromatic when brewed. Honeybush naturally contains iron,
potassium, calcium, copper, zinc, and magnesium. It is widely
regarded for its anti-viral and anti-oxidant properties and
contains phytoestrogens. Good Hope Wisdom™ also contains our
naturally sweet, premium quality Stevia leaves from
Paraguay.
The Good Hope Story
The Cape of Good Hope received
its name from sailors who fared the rough and stormy seas in
their transit from Europe to the Orient in search of spices and
rare treasures. The journey was so rough at the Cape of Africa
that sailors could only have "good hope" that they would make it
around the horn.
Serving Suggestions
Use one tea bag per
cup of boiling water. Steep for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot or iced.
Add milk as desired. You may also wish to add lemon, mint, or
flavoring herbs.
