The digestive 
benefits of Triphala (Terminalia bellerica, Terminalia chebula

In Ayurveda there are seven 
basic body constitutions resulting from the predominance of one 
or more energetic influences or Doshas. The Doshas, Vata, Pitta 
and Kapha, influence physical, mental and spiritual health.

TriphaLax is intended for gentle relief of temporary 
constipation which may result from stress, changes in routine 
due to travel or changes in diet. TriphaLax uses a gentle herbal 
laxative with Indian seena and organic coriander, combined with 
organic coriander seeds that soothe and stimulate digestion, and 
Ayurvedic herbal formula.

TriphaLax consists of an extract of 
the leaves and pods of Indian senna (Senna alexandrina; syn. 
Cassia acutifolia, C. angustifolia, C. senna), a time-honored 
herbal laxative widely used in both Eastern and Western 
medicine, and Triphala ("three fruits"), an ancient Ayurvedic 
formula traditionally used to normalize bowel function, improve 
digestion, and rejuvenate and strengthen tissues. TriphaLax also 
contains Coriander fruits (Coriandrum sativum) which are 
traditionally combined with Indian Senna to soothe and stimulate 
digestion. Animal studies have shown that Coriander fruit 
significantly reduced the time required for food to transit the
