What are Golden Berries?

Goldenberries grow on a small bush that’s indigenous to South America. The bushes can get up to six feet tall and produce clusters of small oval fruits. Each fruit is about ¼ inch in diameter and has a golden yellow color when it’s fully ripe. The exterior of the goldenberry is slightly wrinkled with a velvety texture. The interior flesh is firm with a translucent seed in the center.
