Subject: Aloe and Inflammation
It is well known by those that use it as such that Aloe Vera is a powerful anti-inflammatory that fights inflammation both internally and externally. If you suffer from arthritis, it can be used to reduce the swelling and the pain caused by the inflammatory response of your immune system to the aggravation caused by wearing joints and infected synovial fluid.
Rheumatoid arthritis is caused by your immune system attacking your own joints, and Aloe Vera goes a long way towards mediating this and reducing its effects. It is by no means a cure, but offers relief from pain and swelling while also supporting your immune system. It also displays its anti-inflammatory properties in soothing the effects of acne, eczema and other inflammatory skin conditions such as sunburn.
So if you suffer any of these inflammatory conditions, or intend spending time in the sun this summer, make sure you have some Aloe Vera cream or juice close by - you might need it!
