Citronella Oil - The Natural Way to Keep Mosquitos Away

Summertime is upon us and that means spending more time outside! However, with the warmer weather also comes those pesky mosquitoes. Don't let them ruin your summer fun - try using citronella oil instead of harmful chemicals to keep them away.

Citronella oil comes from the citronella grass plant, which is native to Asia but can also be found in other tropical regions like Australia, South America, and Central America. The oil has a strong, lemony scent that is both stimulating and refreshing. Not only does it smell great, but it's also 100% natural and pure.

One of the most common ways to use citronella oil is by diffusing it in an essential oil diffuser. You can also apply it topically by diluting it with a carrier oil such as jojoba or coconut oil. To repel mosquitos, mix equal parts citronella oil and carrier oil and apply it to exposed skin. You can also add a few drops to your lotion or sunscreen for extra protection.
