Marshmallow Leaf and Root Organic by Celebration Herbals

Marshmallows generic name "Althaea" meaning to heal. This herb has been used for centuries and was advocated by Hypocrites as a food in times of famine as noted in the bible. Marshmallow grows up to 4 feet in damp, wet area. The plant sends up several unbranched, wooley stems with clumps of very pale pink five petaled flowers. They grown on a stem amongst soft greyish green leaves which are good in salads.

SUGGESTED USE

Good water is an essential part of brewing good tea. We recommend using spring or filtered water. If you desire a pleasure tea or quick brew: use one teabag per cup of hot water. Pour boiling water over teabag, cover, steep for 3 to 5 minutes to taste.
