Earl Grey Tea by Buddha Teas

One of the most popular teas in the western world, earl grey tea has a reputation for sophistication and elegance. This high quality blend is well known for offering the smooth flavor of black tea with an exciting dash of citrus.

Although this blend is a relative newcomer into the world of traditional teas, with its first definitive appearance in not until the 1880’s, its winning combination of strong black tea with the flavorful citrus oil of a bergamot orange make this a tea of great reputation. Considered both refreshing and invigorating, earl grey is an excellent brew for starting a morning with energy or dealing with post-lunch lethargy. Often flavored with milk, sugar, honey or vanilla according to preference, it can also be used in a variety of specialty blends, such as ‘lavender lady grey’, which blends earl grey tea with lavender for a more soothing brew.

INSTRUCTIONS

Fresh water is essential for brewing a great cup of tea.

- Use one teabag per cup of boiling water.
- Cover and steep for 3 to 6 minutes.
- Remove tea bag and enjoy!
