Medical marijuana is becoming increasingly popular. With legalization measures allowing more and more people to use marijuana, a new unfortunate problem is presenting itself: many of the marijuana plants are contaminated. What are they contaminated with? Pesticides. These are not small quantities of the pesticides either. A recent study suggested that over 80% of marijuana currently in dispensaries is contaminated with high or potentially dangerous levels of pesticides. This presents a real problem, and probably needs to be regulated.
