Jetty Extracts, a cannabis company based out of Oakland, has been helping cancer patients for years with the Shelter Project which gives patients access to cannabis oil. The project started out with its founder, Matt Lee, and others involved simply giving this oil to friends and family members in need. It has since grown to benefit about 400 patients who receive a monthly care package. In this article, Lee talks about how he got the idea for the Shelter Project and how the project has grown since it began in 2013.
