Berries high in vitamin C and antioxidants, different types of apples, walnuts, fatty fish (such as tuna, salmon, bluefish, and mackerel), carbohydrate and fiber rich whole grains, dark chocolate, various types of mushrooms, eggs, low fat cheese, and coconut are all food that are known to help treat the symptoms of depression due to various chemicals and substances inherently present in the foods listed.
