THC, the active ingredient in marijuana is toxic to dogs, but CBD oil is not. Although no studies have been done on dogs, some reports claim in can help anxiety and seizures in humans. If you attempt to use CBD oil instead of doctor recommended medications, you could be putting your dog's health at risk. If you still insist on using it, start with the lowest possible dose, this can lessen the chance of a negative reaction.
