Antibiotics are one of the best inventions that this planet has ever seen. Preventing millions of deaths from common bacterial infections is hard to argue with. However, recent research has shown that the continued use, and generally the overuse, of antibiotics can have some dire consequences. Among them is stomach cancer, an especially difficult form of cancer to treat. So while the pros of antibiotics far outweigh the cons, one needs to be careful not to overdue their useage.
