There is so much sugar in the lozenges and cough medicine that there is close to, or more than the daily recommended amount, according to WHO (World Health Organization). Companies should make it more clear to the consumer just how many calories are actually in these products. There are alternatives that are sugar free, but without the sugar, the products might lose their pleasure effect and show their bitter taste.
